- Academic Gastroenterologist - Transplant Hepatology
Description
The Division of Gastroenterology at WashU Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member (Assistant, Associate or Professor) with advanced training in transplant hepatology. The focus will be on clinical hepatology, including the evaluation and care of patients prior to and following liver transplantation, acute and chronic liver diseases, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, and education of our gastroenterology, hepatology, and internal medicine trainees.
The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinics, inpatient consultation, and endoscopic procedures on the main Washington University Medical Campus at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Center for Advanced Medicine as well as at regional locations within the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.
Requirements
Required qualifications (prior to start date):
MD or equivalent professional medical degree
Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
Completion of a formal training program in transplant hepatology and eligibility for the CAQ in transplant hepatology
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Missouri
